* Sitting for hours staring at a television screen with a controller in hand-

meanwhile the kids toilet paper the house, shave the cat

* The CRACKBOX-head eats 1.45 bowls of cereal 6 hours after dinner was thrown into the trash.
* Any interruptions is game play is responded to with a "Huh?",
but the CRACKBOX-head's glazed eyes never leave the screen.
* Spending hours playing online and talking to some guy in Jersey named XXXBonecrusherXXX.
* All conversations with the CRACKBOX-head during brief
periods of rest (for gamer's thumb) lead back to playing the game.

A word on tattoos

Much like giving birth, the pain that you experience during is inexplicable. Just like childbirth, there is a lot of "breathing", groaning, cursing, and clenching. Trust me, ANYTHING that can be clenched WILL BE clenched. ;)

But once you see your new beautiful baby, all the pain is forgotten. OK, not really- IT HURT LIKE HECK. My new baby isn't perfect, and I freaked out that it is slightly crooked. My tattoo artist added two vines at the top to make it look more even... My brother and sister assured me that it's barely noticeable and John said the same thing when he saw it Monday night. Me... I'm still obsessing about it, but I am hoping that I can have some vines added to it later if it really bothers me.

I now have a beautiful piece of artwork on my body. At times I am still shocked to see it there on my lower back, it actually looks like it is painted on.... it's almost 8 inches in width. That's a lot bigger than I had originally planned!

As far as the place we went to , the name is Stingray Tattoo in Reno. The guys there were awesome and very nice. Except for the guy who did mine... he was nice but he was A TRIP! I could tell that since this was my first tatt, he was trying to have some fun with me. He tried really hard to freak me out, but after trying for about 20 minutes he realized that there was no shocking ME. In the end though, Rafael and I had a nice time chatting (in between me gasping for air and almost biting the tattoo table) about life and how we are all God's creatures when it comes down to it. We discussed family values, family drama and family humor. It was pretty cool.

MY tattoo took almost 2 hours and originally my sis thought hers would take longer, but that was before the shop owner/manager told me that to get all the detail I should stick with the original size. We decided to get them done the morning after I got there instead of waiting until Sunday, which was Friday. I'm glad we did because I probably would have changed my mind about the whole thing considering it's a bit like waiting to take your turn at the gallows. ;)

Adding images to your page :D Posted about 1 year ago

If you read the previous blog post, it's going to be pretty much the same except that you want to use the html tag that is ( hopefully) provided for you by your image hosting site.

It should start with either

"<a href="

or
"<img src"

Open your profile, click Create/edit custom theme at the bottom of your profile choices on the right side.

Choose the spot that you want to insert your images. On my page you'll see that I put a bunch of graphics under the "About Me" section. I scrolled down until I found "<cre8Buzz-about-me />" and inserted the html code from my images that are hosted at Photobucket.

That's it... save and view your profile. You can add as many images at a time to your Edit Theme window as you want.

Also, if your images are stuck together instead of being in a column of one image per row and you don't want it that way, just put these tags on your image html code to separate each image:

Add this to the beginning of your image code
<br>

and this to the end of your image code
</br>

Have fun!

Adding a background to your page... Posted about 1 year ago

A really easy way to add a background to your cre8buzz page is to do a "myspace layout" google search.

Find a style you like and get the code. Copy the top portion of the code that contains the tags "<style>" and ends with "</style>" INCLUDING those tags.

Then simply go to your cre8buzz page, click on edit profile. Then go down the right sidebar and click Create/edit custom theme. I pasted the code at the very top of the code box.

Save and view your profile.

Also, if you look at my page you will notice I managed to load slide shows and movies that are already hosted else where (Photobucket, Slideshow and YouTube). If you have a blog and have experience with embedding codes on your page or blog posts, this should be pretty easy for you. Just find the code to the movie/slide show you want to put on your page, the code should include the word embed in the beginning.

Copy it and paste into the Create/edit custom theme window and save. The different sections of your cre8buzz page are clearly marked in this window, so if you decide that you want to add some video just above "your Name" Video gallery header on your page, just open the Create/edit custom theme window and scroll down the code until you find "<cre8Buzz-my-video />" and insert the embed code to your hosted video/slide show.

That's it... have fun!
