Hi! I'm Brillig. I was born into a family who lived for crazy traveling adventures. My parents always found a way to get us into international weirdness. We lived through strikes, wars, and economic downfalls. We were never allowed to just visit a place, the way tourists do, even when we were small children. We studied the history, culture, and language of every place we traveled to.

So, in the end, I've been to 30+ countries, studied ten languages (though I only claim to SPEAK four, and I only speak two of them well), and lived on four continents.

Then, I met the man of my dreams and married him and popped out four babies in rapid succession. Our oldest is currently 6 and our youngest is 2. They keep me on my toes, for sure! We currently live just outside of Denver, Colorado

On my blog, Twas Brillig I write about anything and everything, from the chaos of having had four kids in four and a half years, to autism (our youngest son is autistic-- wow! What a loop that's thrown us through!), to politics, social issues, and reminiscing about my adventures of the past. I am co-host and co-creator of Soap Opera Sunday which you can play along with on your own blog, or you can submit a post anonymously to our Anonymous Soapiness site.
