About me?? Hmmm... what to say? what to say! This is my fifth attempt at getting something down in here! I'm married 43 years in November to a wonderful man. We have 2 children, one of each, both grown and married to wonderful people. They have given us our four beautiful grandchildren. I married very young and went back to school as an adult to get my high school diploma. I actually graduated in 1985 the same year as my son. While taking adult education classes I took an art class and found I really enjoyed oil painting and tole painting. The gull picture that is my avatar is one of my oils. I've been trying different crafts for years. Sewing, crochet, knitting, cross stitch, embroidery, oil painting, tole painting, scrapbooking, flower arrangements and wreath making and probably a few more that I can't think of this minute. I was introduced to computers and the Internet by my son about 10 years ago and yet still feel very much the novice at it. However there is some progress as I run a Freecycle[TM] site for my area and a Cafe. (Shameless plug for Freecycle Groups) Go Greener and join your local Freecycle group today! I am also a mentor mod for Freecycle groups needing help and a chat room moderator for africhat at wildcam.com (yup another shameless plug) I better click update before I decide this "try" is unworthy and have to start all over again! I may anyway when I reread this lol so read fast!
