It wasn't until I got a little "where have you been" nudge from Jim that I realized it has been a month since I checked in on the Buzz. Wow. I've been too busy to even talk to my mom, so don't take it personally, Buzzbuddies. How about an update?

I am a writer about technology and social media. I have been writing my tail off lately for a variety of sites, including Profy.com, so that keeps me busy.

As part of my writing duties at Profy, I evangelize for their new blogging platform. You should check it out - it's like Blogger for grown ups, and it exports to your other blogs, like WordPress, as well. I'm tying to get them to export to other networks like Cre8Buzz and Ning in future incarnations - we'll see how that goes. But the marketing aspect keeps me very busy in the Boston area.

I have been attending and supporting many local technology and social media events, from POPSignals and DEMOParty to Boston Media Makers, Social Media Club and more. I may be presenting at PodCamp Boston (I'm still deciding on that one) and possibly also at a new tech conference in NH.

All of this takes time, and requires a lot of travel, so I've been slacking on keeping up with my friends. Add in the fact that I'm trying to expand my work to include a new side business teaching companies how to use social media to expand their brand and gain traction online (yes, you can hire me if you need that kind of help), and I'm a busy, busy woman these days.

Next week I will be at the TechTonic meeting on Wednesday in Boston and then at Gary Vaynerchuk's book signing and after party on Thursday. Thursday will be off the hook! Bring the thunder indeed!

Speaking of off the hook, how hot are the Boston sports teams this year? Did you all SEE that Celtics/Lakers game the other night? Phenomenal...

Don't be afraid to come find me like Jim did and nudge me back to Buzz with you all if I seem to disappear, I'm just busy. Yes, I still write for my blogs Smoke Rings and Coffee Stains, AppleGrrl, etc and have them pulled in to my Buzz profile with a little widget, so you can see my stuff there also.
