So the hubby and I are setting out to another car show this weekend. This one is a little different though because it is in the town I grew up in.

I'm uber excited about seeing my family. My grandparents and all of my aunts, uncles & cousins young enough to still be there are. And my Gran has been sick lately so I cherish every second I get to spend with her.

We're not taking a VW this time. Instead we are taking Charlies 68 Dodge pickup. He wanted to drive something and didn't want to have to trailer anything. Plus we don't have a show worthy VW anymore. Our new bug still looks like it is on a bad trip from 1969.

So we'll be heading out this afternoon as soon as I get out of work and arrive late tonight. Stay with my grands for a few days and head home. (So if I'm not on here, you know why.)

I have one major concern and that is the people. Truth is I left town after high school and never looked back. I'm friends with only one person who went to the same school and we weren't friends in school. So I'm interested to see who I run into and what I'll have to deal with. Guess we'll just have to wait and see...

I hope my hubby knows what he's getting into...

Oh, and I will make sure my hubby takes pics. He's the photographer of the family...
