My little girl has proven herself fearless once again. I use to think that when she got to dating age, that her brothers and I would greet her first date on the porch. I envisioned us cleaning our shotguns and asking questions like; "So, where are you taking my little girl again?" and "What time are you supposed to have her home?" I see now that there will be no need for such action. Instead, I believe I'll pull the poor lad into the kitchen, hand him a beer and ask; "Do you know what you're getting yourself into?" and "If you're going to try and kiss her, you better call your folks first and make sure the insurance is paid up."

I have no fear anymore that she will ever be taken advantage of by anyone. Now, if I can just keep her away from the credit cards...
