For those who don't know him, he is one incredible person! He is a wilderness counselor who takes adhd kids out and hikes a mountain with them. He watches them come off of rittalin and start to understand basic life truths. You wanna eat, you build fire and cook. Sounds so simple, but it works! He is very humble about his work and yet see's the big picture oh so well.

He recently put me in a catagory of those who understand. I am truly impressed. Not by him including me, but by what he does and how he keeps it all together! Taken back to Thoreau and walden nature has been recognized as a healing force.

I have had aspirations of having a logcabin with a homemade kiln in the back 40! It took about 6 months away from my ex to even remember that I had these dreams.

Amazing what you can find you've given up to keep a miserable person somewhat happy! I wouldn't dream of that now! But I have a husband who supports and encourages my dreams. No more excuses not to try to reach out to my goals.

I didn't realize that I had so many excuses not to try for happiness. I now have to remind myself that yoga is important mentally and physically. Pottery is truely enjoyed in both shperes as well plus you get a end result that is tangible. Even working in O.T. it was hard to see my efforts realized. People get sicker and months of work can be undone with a minor lil' stroke or a blood clot! You also have to have to accept some patients do not want to get better. Maybe they are getting more attention being sick then they ever got well.

It's hard to turn down attention that is wanted or maybe never received in a lifetime.
