I've been searching for a camera/photography club in my area. The nearest ones I found are still a few hours away driving. And the kicker is, they charge dues. I am disheartened. I, being a Sue of little means, cannot afford to pay dues AND gas prices to join in on the fun just to gain some camaraderie, critique, and a little fun.

All I want is a group of people who can, hrm, I'm not sure. Go on Photowalks? share photos online? Help and mentor each other? That would nice, in theory. I fear I might have a case of wishful thinking. I suppose what interests me the most is the prospect of group activity and personal interaction.

Cre8buzz is an awesome community, but the locations of you people are varied and none of you live near enough to get together for the photowalks. Or do you? I'm in Northwestern PA. Anybody up for a 'gathering' every now and then to shoot the bull (so to speak) and just share an afternoon with our cameras?
