Judith had her surgery, 10hours to remove the old metal plates from her skull and put in temporary plastic plates. Then they could scan her properly and then removed the blood clot from her brain. She is home now. She cannot see much, just blurred shapes and not able to read sign language yet let alone lips so she is feeling very cut off. That said she is able to garden and cook by feel, spending a lot of time playing with the kids, but very reluctant to leave the house, her normal confidence has taken a big knock. The kids are fine, being very attentive and protective of Moeder Judith. Its going to be some time before her eyes improve enough for her to feel normal again, but they do seem to be getting there.
