Whats the difference between Ask The Group and Forums?
Ask the Group Questions are sent directly to all participating people in the community. All answers are sent directly back to you. Folks are notified when the community is asked a question. Forums posts are not sent to the community. Folks must go to the forum to participate, they are designed for back and forth communication, and dialogue, where Ask the Group is for specific questions from a single source.
Whats Ask the Group?
Ask the Group allows anyone to post a question to the community. For example, if you wanted to know where there was a great Mountain Bike trail in San Diego, just type the question into the Ask the Group box and it will be sent to the entire community., Ask the Group Members can choose to receive Ask the Group questions and respond. To opt out and not receive Ask the Group questions just uncheck the box in Manage my Account in your Edit Profile Section.
Can I change my profile name?
Sorry. The profile name cannot be changed once it is created.
Whats a category and whats a community?
Communities are organized areas of Cre8buzz where people with common passions come together and interact. Categories are groups of communities. For example, motor vehicles is a Category, Cars a sub-category, and BMW a Community. On the Cre8buzz Top Page you will see the list of all Categories. Click on any Category and sub-categories and communities will be displayed along with top members of those groups.
How do I select my community?
Start by browsing the categories of your hobbies, passions or profession. See what interests you. Click on some and see the activity in the community. Pick one and see how you like it.
How do I start a new community?
Currently you cant. If you dont see a community that works for you, send the Antman a message (heyantman@cre8buzz.com) telling us what youd like to see. We cant make promises BUT if it makes sense we may just add it.
How do I invite others?
The Edit Profile section includes an Invite Friends section on the right side of the page, near the bottom. Add your friends emails and invite them to join Cre8buzz!
Does it matter that my BuzzRank is low?
Thats up to you! Some people join cre8buzz to be a part of the community. Others want the prestige of a high profile. Whats important to you? However, the higher the BuzzRank the more exposure your stuff will get.
Whats the difference between friendships and contacts?
Friendship is a more informal way to connect with someone. It is a simple and fun way for you someone to say I dig your stuff. Contacts are a bit more formal as they allow you to communicate privately with one another using the cre8Buzz message system. Contacts can send each other messages and interact privately on cre8Buzz with out sharing personal information.
How do I find People, Pictures, Videos, etc?
The top right corner of every page includes a Search box. Add your search term and search all of Cre8buzz or limit your search to certain types of content.
How do I increase my BuzzRank?
Here are some steps to grow your BuzzRanking:
- Make friends reach out to people in your community
- Showcase yourself, post your pictures, blog your opinions, and share your videos.
- Use our BuzzRanking widget, put it on your other sites and let the world know your BuzzRanking.
- Participate with the community, join the forums. Ask the group questions.
How do I make friends and add contacts?
Does someone seem interesting to you? Did you get a nice comment? Click on their Avatar to check out their profile. Read a bit about them. On the right side of the page are buttons to add a person as a Contact, to make them a Friend, or to Send them a Message. Select one or three. Please note, each member must agree to make you a friend or contact before the mutual friendship or contact is established. You will not be able to send a member a Message until they have accepted you as a Contact.
People have these cool custom profiles. How do I do that?
Weve created Cre8buzz to allow people to express themselves through their profiles. People are doing all sorts of creative things to make their profiles represent them. To get the most up-to-date tips, search Cre8buzz for members who are sharing their expertise.
Ok, Ive built a profile. Now what?
Participate: Get involved in the Community. Rank what you like high, what is lame low. Share some comments. Start a discussion.
Ok, so how do I start building my profile?
The Edit Profile section includes an area called Manage My Profile. Select any of the links to Add photos, Create an About Me description, Add video, etc. Tell us about yourself. Share some photos. Link to your blog. Be creative! The more stuff you provide the easier it is for folks to get to know you and the more value youll get out of the community.
Whats a BuzzRank?
A BuzzRank is a measure of the popularity and viewership of your content. If many people see what you are posting and give it positive feedback, your BuzzRank will grow.
How do I change my avatar (personal icon) picture?
The Edit Profile section shows your Avatar in the top right corner. Select the Edit Photo button and follow the instructions to add or change pictures.
I like lots of things. Can I belong to multiple communities?
Not yet. To enroll in multiple communities, you will need to establish multiple profiles with separate Username and Passwords.
Can I move to another community?
Absolutely. If you are browsing communities and see one you like, click the Move my Profile Here button in the upper left side of the community page and your profile will move.
What is Cre8buzz?
Cre8buzz is a collection of online communities, often called social networks. The Cre8buzz difference is that you can easily find and interact with folks who share your interests and passions, creating a community in the true sense of the word. All the pictures, videos and posts on the site are continually sorted and ranked according to how cool (or lame) the members judge them to be, to bring the best front and center. Every day. If youre enthusiastic and talented, you might even get famous!
What should I do first?
First, pick a community that interests you: a hobby, passion or profession. Second, join that community and build your profile page within it. Third, dive-in! Look, read, rate, judge, laugh, comment and explore.

How do I change my email address?

How do I change my About Me content?

How do I change my password?

I can't create an account.
Select Contact on the bottom of the page and Email us. Well help as soon as we can.

Yes! Every feature and function you currently see on the site is free. In the future, Cre8buzz may add premium paid services , but all the features and functions you have currently been enjoying on the Cre8buzz site will remain free, forever.
